Choose sales orders#

Have the order or item you want to trace ready.

Trace lots and serials#

  1. 1
    Open Reports and select Allocations.
  2. 2
Use Filter by date, then click Search. Search for an order or item to narrow the list.
  3. 3
Compare reserved and shipped quantities for each tracked item.
  4. 4
Open the linked order and compare the reserved warehouse, bin, lot, or serial with the physical pick.
  5. 5
Compare the shipped quantity with the reservation that remains after fulfillment.

Reservation sets stock aside for an order. Shipment is a later event and should match the identities actually packed.

Check fulfillment#

An allocation documents committed stock; it is not a dispatch or invoice. The report is read-only for picking verification.

WARNING: Release or correct a wrong reservation through the order workflow, not by editing the report.

Before investigating#

Compare the selected lot or serial with the physical shipment record when reserved and shipped quantities differ.

If a tracked unit is missing, investigate its movement history before reserving a substitute.
