Check the reserved order and labels#
The order must be reserved/processing and tracked stock must be eligible in the selected warehouse/bin.
Pick lots and serials for shipment#
- 1Open the order's fulfillment page and check the reserved warehouse and bin.
- 2Enter the quantity you are shipping and select the eligible lot and serial numbers shown on the physical items.
- 3Before sealing the carton, read each serial and lot label aloud against the order's allocation.
- 4Pack and verify those items, then confirm fulfillment and check the shipment record.
- 5After confirming, open the shipment and verify the exact identities recorded as shipped.
A shipment with the right quantity but the wrong identity breaks traceability for returns and recalls.
Confirm shipped identities#
Fulfillment records a sale movement and updates lot/serial state with the stock reduction. Available, quarantined, recalled, expired, pending and already sold units are not interchangeable.
WARNING: Do not pick a lot solely because it expires first. Choose only the lots and serial numbers shown as available for this order and location.
If a lot or serial is ineligible#
Check that the picked lot and serials are in stock at the selected location and are not quarantined, expired, or already sold.
If an allocated unit is unavailable, stop and resolve the reservation; do not scan a different unit to make the count pass.
For Finance: Cost of Shipped Goods#
Fulfillment reduces stock and may record cost of goods sold. The invoice is a separate finance task.
