Find the currency that differs#

  1. 1
Open the document that was rejected and note its currency and date.
  2. 2
Compare those details with your company's base currency and the linked payment or bill.
  3. 3
Check the exchange rate for that date and the currencies supported by the action.
  4. 4
Compare the currency on the source document, payment, and selected bank account.
  5. 5
Check the exchange rate and posting date with Finance before correcting the entry.

If the document is posted, follow its supported correction process.

Correct the document or rate#

Use the correct currency on the source document or payment before retrying. A foreign-currency purchase order cannot be received into inventory when it differs from the valuation currency.

WARNING: Do not change the company base currency or force a rate simply to bypass a validation error; this can misstate inventory and GL values.
