Read the failed row details#
Keep the original CSV and the failed-row results so you can correct only what needs attention.
Fix the file and validate again#
- 1Open the import results and find each failed row and column message.
- 2Correct missing values, duplicates, invalid quantities, or references to records that do not exist.
- 3Select Validate again. Import only after the rows you intend to create or update pass.
- 4Correct the cited row in the original file and keep its template headings unchanged.
- 5Run Validate again, then compare the new error count and preview.
If a row still fails, check referenced categories, suppliers, and duplicate codes.
Retry only what failed#
After importing, compare accepted, failed, and skipped counts with the source file. If only some rows failed, retry those rows rather than the whole batch.
WARNING: If some rows imported successfully, retry only the failed rows. Reimporting the whole file may duplicate or overwrite accepted records.
