Check physical lot labels#
Check every lot label, expiration date, and quantity against physical or receiving evidence.
Import the lot records#
- 1Open CSV Import, choose Lots, and download the template.
- 2Enter the product's SKU, its receiving warehouse, lot number, and quantity received. Add a bin, remaining quantity, unit cost, and dates where needed, following the downloaded template.
- 3Keep the template headers unchanged, then select Validate and fix failed rows.
- 4Import and open sample lots to compare their labels, dates, and remaining quantity.
- 5Open a sample imported lot and compare its product, dates, and quantity with the physical label.
- 6Check its warehouse location before staff begin picking.
If the lot identity is wrong, correct the source rows before importing the remaining file.
Confirm dates and quantities#
If Quantity remaining is left blank, KariVast uses Quantity received. Finance should confirm the associated cost.
WARNING: Combined lot-and-serial products cannot create positive serialized stock through direct lot CSV import. Use structured opening stock or purchase receiving with serial identities.
