Find the customer or supplier#

Open the customer or supplier detail and check the party's current active status and linked transactions.

Trace the party's open business#

  1. 1
Open the customer or supplier list and search for the party.
  2. 2
Open its detail to check whether it is active.
  3. 3
Follow linked orders, invoices, bills, and payments on their own pages when investigating a balance.
  4. 4
Read recent orders, bills, or activity before changing the contact's status.
  5. 5
Reopen the contact and confirm the new status and any recorded reason.

An inactive contact may still have historical documents and outstanding balances.

Keep historical records intact#

Active/inactive status controls future selection where enforced; it does not erase posted history or settle open balances. The application does not promise one universal interaction timeline or account-statement export.

WARNING: Do not delete or reactivate a party to fix an invoice or bill. Correct the source financial document through its authorized workflow.
